Native to Japan. Small, dense evergreen shrub with a round, mounded growth habit. Leaves are lustrous dark green, simple, obovate, 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" long, 1/2" to 3/4" wide. Creamy white flowers in spring. Good for a small screen or as a ground cover. Slow growth rate
