Opuntia 'Santa Rita'

Native to southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico. Rounded pads are blue-gray with a tinge of purple in summer, darkening to a rich purple-red in winter. Spines line the upper edges and clusters of glochids dot the pads. Pads up to 8" long. Fruit purple and fleshy. Fast growth rate.
