Native to Mexico. A deciduous, woody-stemmed, climbing, perennial vine. Leaves are ovate, green, 2" long, 3/4" wide. Has clawlike tendrils which attach to trellises, arbors, or chainlink fences. Blooms are yellow, trumpet-shaped with lobes, 2" long, 4" across. Very heat tolerant.
