Native to Texas, New Mexico. Plants have long, narrow, dark green leaves produced in a basal rosette and flowers borne on long panicles. Blooms spring through autumn. Foliage clumps resemble yucca or coarse grass. Heat and drought tolerant. Great as an accent or planted in masses. Very little maintenance aside from removing spent flower clusters and seed pods. Slow growth rate.
