Willow Corkscrew

Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa'

Corkscrew Willow has an upright habit with contorted and twisted branches. Leaves are green, alternate, simple, lanceolate, linear and  2" to 4" long.  Autumn leaves turn a golden yellow.  Bark is light brown and weak, making it prone to wind damage.  It has a fast growth rate, short life span and is subject to pests.
