Description

Nandina domestica

An evergreen, upright shrub with bluish-green foliage that turns copper-red in winter. Leaves are alternate, tri-pinnately compound, elliptic-lanceolate, 1 1/2" to 4" long, 1/2" to 3/4" wide. Blooms small white flowers in late spring, followed by showy, bright red fruit. Can take a good amount of shade and is low maintenance. Moderate growth rate.
