Description
Botanical Name: 
X Chitalpa tashkentensis

A cross between a Catalpa tree and a Desert Willow tree (Catalpa bignonioides and Chilopsis linearis). Light green leaflets are 4" to 5" in lenght and 1" wide with frilly, trumpet shaped flowers in pink, white, or lavender.  Fast growth rate.  Varieties include 'Morning Cloud'- white to very light pink blooms, 'Pink Dawn'- pink blooms.
