Native to Mediterranean. Tough, versatile, evergreen shrub. Leaves are gray-green, opposite, simple, linear, 3/4" to 2" long, 1/16" to 1/8" wide, aromatic. 'Prostratus' has a trailing growth habit. Endures blazing sun and poor alkaline soil. Extremely drought tolerant. Pale lavender-blue flowers from autumn to spring. Will trail down a wall or raised flowerbed.
