Native to Argentina and Uruguay. This shrub or small tree has an open and irregular growth habit. Leaves are compound, dark green, with many small leaflets 3/4" - 1" long. It bears short racemes of yellow flowers with long red stamens. Followed by brown seed pods in autumn. Can be made dense with pruning or turned into a small tree. A very tough shrub with a fast growth rate.
