An evergreen clump-forming bamboo with yellow-green foliage. Leaves are alternate, palmately compound, lanceolate, 3 1/2" to 4" long, 1/4" to 1/2" wide. Erect, grooved stems have cup-shaped swellings beneath most nodes. Drought tolerant but does better with regular water. Does great in containers. Fast growth rate.
