Description
Botanical Name: 
Zexmenia hispida

Native to Texas and Mexico. A small rounded shrub with a woody base and herbaceous upper stems. Leaves are dark green, ovate to lanceolate, rough textured, sticky, 1" long, 1/2" wide. Blooms are bright yellow-orange, held on tips of slender leafless branches summer through autumn, 3/4" wide. Cut back periodically to produce more blooms and keep compact.
