Description
Botanical Name: 
Zephyranthes candida

Native to central and South America. A perennial bulb that is tolerant of many types of conditions from wet to dry. Leaves are bright green, linear, grass-like, 6" to 1' long. Rising slender stems bear a single funnel-shaped blossom that is crocus-like, silvery white. Ideal for pots, rockgardens, or tucking away between groundcovers. Removal of spent seedheads improves appearance and cycle of drying then watering encourages rebloom.
