Botanical Name: 
Rudbeckia hirta

Native to the eastern U.S. Biannual or short-lived perennial. Fast growing with an upright habit. Leaves are green, lanceolate, rough, hairy, 3" to 4" long, 1 1/2" to 2" wide. Blooms are daisy-like, deep yellow, with a conical, dark purple-brown center, 2" to 4" wide. Blooms early spring through autumn. Deadheading recommended for rebloom. Reseeds very easily, so you will constantly have Rudbeckias in your garden.
